Easter is fun when your kids are small. You might think the fun ends as they get bigger, but in my opinion holidays can be even more fun with older kids. All you have to do is tweak your traditions so that they are fun for older kids too. This is a fun idea for teens because most teens have phones with built-in cameras.
I was just writing this post: 10 Activity Ideas for Your Teens and remembered that my brother did something really fun when we were younger that I am sure you readers would love I only very briefly covered it in this post , but you should definitely try to tell your readers or come up with a gameplan. My brother and his friends would create like mock lasertag courses in our backyard and they all had those laser guns from target like 25 bucks and wear the vests and run around at night playing like army men or something and shoot each other. I remember that they would play for hours and set-up like little mock basecamps and lean to's to hide. Anyway, thought I would tell you the memory because I think your readers might love it. Thanks, Vanessa!
Storyboarding is a well-known and popular task in the ESL classroom but it means sourcing a sequence of pictures which can be a challenge! To personalise it even more, use your town or the school as a backdrop for the story. Choose a picture in an interesting setting or location. This is a great task to practise the Second Conditional. When finished, groups can share their profiles and discuss their choices; a great way to practise present simple, present simple continuous and adjectives for description and character at the lower levels.
